JULIA E. BURT

Julia practices primarily estate planning (Trusts, Wills, Probate) and Corporate/Business law. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to establishing her own firm, Julia’s career included Price Waterhouse, the Gordon P. Getty Family Trust, General Counsel to etNetworks, Inc. and Porter Simon, PC.
Julia is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Desert Bar Association. She served as President of the Tahoe-Truckee Bar Association, and on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. Julia and her husband, Randall, reside in La Quinta and whenever possible enjoy golfing, tennis, skiing, boating, hiking with their dog and entertaining friends.
Julia was born in Racine, Wisconsin, and graduated in 1985 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with a Major in Accounting. While at the University of Wisconsin, Julia served as the first female president of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting fraternity. In addition, she ran the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for low income and disabled persons needing tax preparation assistance.
She received her law degree in 1999 from Western State University, College of Law, in Fullerton, California.
